Resonance Problem of a Class of Quasilinear Parabolic Equations
Abstract In this paper, we study the resonance problem of a class of singular quasilinear parabolic equations with respect to its higher near-eigenvalues. Under a generalized Landesman-Lazer condition, it is proved that the resonance problem admits at least one nontrivial solution in weighted Sobolev spaces. The proof is based upon applying the Galerkin-type technique, the Brouwer’s fixedpoint ...
متن کاملA class of singularly perturbed quasilinear differential equations with interior layers
A class of singularly perturbed quasilinear differential equations with discontinuous data is examined. In general, interior layers will appear in the solutions of problems from this class. A numerical method is constructed for this problem class, which involves an appropriate piecewise-uniform mesh. The method is shown to be a parameter-uniform numerical method with respect to the singular per...
متن کاملA numerical algorithm for solving a class of matrix equations
In this paper, we present a numerical algorithm for solving matrix equations $(A otimes B)X = F$ by extending the well-known Gaussian elimination for $Ax = b$. The proposed algorithm has a high computational efficiency. Two numerical examples are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

We study some anisotropic boundary value problems involving variable exponent growth conditions and we establish the existence and multiplicity of weak solutions by using as main argument critical point theory. 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification: 35J60, 35J62, 35J70.
